About UsPaul Caruso, Co-Owner My name is Paul Caruso, and I am one of the two owners of Romano's Pizza in Haverhill, Massachusetts. So you want to know a little bit about me? Well, let's start with the fact that I have been married to my wonderful wife for 18 years, and we have a beautiful sixteen year old daughter together. My family is very important to me. But to get to my pizza background... My parents owned a sub shop when I was growing up and I loved working there. I knew since I was a little boy that I would love to own my own pizza shop some day. I worked with my parents, and the love of serving customers appealed to me. As I grew up and started to support my family, I worked at many bakeries, and had a part time job at Romano's Pizzeria in Salem, New Hampshire. I started out as a driver, and quickly worked my way up to a higher position. I became a cook, and I was pretty good at it too. I loved working there, and only wished I could be able to have my own. A few years later, I became very good friends with Bob. We met through our daughters dancing. After a lot of talking we decided lets go for it. Let's buy our own pizza shop together. After a lot of discussing, and a whole lot of work, we found the one we wanted. So that's how I ended up here, serving you in Haverhill, and man do I love it! Bob Greatorex, Co-Owner Hi! I am from Salem, NH married for 12 years and father of a 9 year old lovely daughter. I work for the State of Massachusetts during the day, and work here at Romano's at night.I have been in the pizza business for about 18 years. I worked at Bertuccis restaurants for 12 of those years. I have managed several different stores, while being trained with a cooperate chef for 2 of those years. Being able to experiment with different ideas on the public made me realize the fun and joy in working in the food service industry. After that I worked in a few different pizzerias in Boston, just having fun making pizzas. So I took a chance at the American dream and took over our own store. I plan to keep Romano's reputation of having the best pizza around, and also make it better with some of the tools I have gathered along the way. My goal is to make great pizza with a family atmosphere that can satisfy even the toughest customers. |
